Why some people are so successful and some are struggling?

Are successful people different from others? Do they have more than 24 hours in a day to get their work done? Do they have some secret super powers?

The answer is a BIG NO.

Have you ever wondered that what it takes to become successful in life?

Since definition of success is subjective so it can be different for person to person.

But apart for skills and knowledge there is one thing that we ignore and that are our habits. We generally do not understand the power of habits in our life. Habits are super powerful but we underestimate them . Habits can make you or break you.

In the book called “ Power of Habit ” by Charles Duhigg , it is mentioned that “Champions don’t do extraordinary things. They do ordinary things, but they do them without thinking, too fast for the other team to react. They follow the habits they’ve learned.”

Here are some habits that successful people practice in their daily life but others don’t.

5 habits of successful people :

  1. Consistency : Consistency is simply finishing daily tasks to achieve your big goal without any fail. We all know how important is to being consistent. Then what stops us from being consistent towards our goal? Where others fail at being consistent , successful people don’t.

As Anthony Robbins said,

“It’s not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives. It’s what we do consistently.”

2. Self- Discipline : Are you also one of those people who seeks motivation to get their work done every time. Try SELF-DISCIPLINE. No matter how the circumstances are , successful people never break their self-discipline.

As Jim Rohn said,

“Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.”

3. Never say no to learning : This is a bitter truth that time changes very quickly and if you are not constantly learning and acquiring new skills , you can never be successful.

As Brain Tracy said,

“Those people who develop the ability to continuously acquire new and better forms of knowledge that they can apply to their work and to their lives will be the movers and shakers in our society for the indefinite future.”

Final Words : We have only one life. It’s up to us how do we want to spend it. we have two options whether we can spend our life by complaining , making excuses for not being successful or we can start taking actions. And the first step is to inculcate these habits.
